From timeless classics to contemporary masterpieces, this showcase celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship behind the creation of the costumes worn in some of the most famous Irish made films. Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to explore a stunning collection of costumes worn by legendary actors and actresses, bringing to life memorable characters and unforgettable moments from Irish cinematic history. From period dramas to modern blockbusters, each costume tells a unique story, reflecting the rich tapestry of Irish film.

The exhibition features original costumes worn in some of cinema's most celebrated award winning classics including: 'Breakfast on Pluto’, staring Ireland’s Oscar winning actor, Cillian Murphy, ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, ‘Michael Collins’, ‘Braveheart’ and many more.

Only 30 mins from Dublin. Take the M7 from Dublin (main road to Limerick, Killarney and Cork). Leave M7 at Junction 10 and follow the signs. Driving from Cork, take Junction 12 off M7 and follow the signs.

By Bus:

Multiple bus operators and services through Newbridge with buses stopping in Newbridge main street approx 10mins walk. See www.buseireann.ie, dublincoach.ie for timetable, fares and online bookings.

By Train:

Irish Rail train service available at Newbridge Train Station, station road, Newbridge, approx 20mins walk to Newbridge Silverware. Taxis at station. Normal Service between 7am and 7pm daily (@ 30mins from Dublin). See www.irishrail.ie for up to date timetable, fares and online bookings.
