Kim Cobian, Wendy O’Connor and Frances Bean Cobain visited in July 2018 to open the ‘Growing up Kurt Cobain’ exhibition celebrating the childhood of the legendary musical star. The exhibition of his personal artefacts include his sketches, his toys, clothing and the only car he ever owned.
Linda Grey visited the us on several occasions and is currently the face of our homeware range. Linda Gray is an American film, stage and television actress, director, producer and former model, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing, on the television drama series Dallas (1978–1989).
Dame Joan Collins has visited Newbridge Silverware on several occasions. She is an English actress, author and columnist. In 1981, she landed the role of Alexis Colby, in the 1980s soap opera Dynasty, winning a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 1982; she is credited with the success of Dynasty, the most-watched television series in the US during the 1984-85 broadcast season. Collins also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1983 for career achievement.
Amy HUberman was the face of Newbridge Silverware from 2014 - 2016. In 2017, she designed a range of jewellery exclusively for Newbridge Silverware called ‘The Collection’. The phenomenal success of The Collection has led to an expanded range which is expected to launch in 2019. Amy is an Irish actress and writer who has acted in numerous productions since beginning her career in 2002 on RTÉ's On Homeground. Huberman is married to former Ireland rugby captain Brian O'Driscoll.
Rob Kearney was the face of the Guinness by Newbridge Silverware Homeware range 2016 - 2017 and is a regular visitor to the Newbridge Silverware visitor Centre. Rob is an Irish rugby union rugby player who currently plays for UCD, Leinster and Ireland. As a youth he also played rugby union for Clongowes Wood College and Gaelic football for Louth in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship.
Yasmin le Bon was the face of the Newbridge Silverware Jewellery range when the collection was in it’s infancy and is was the first to wear the famous ‘silver bust’ designed and created exclusively for the Face of Newbridge Silverware. Yasmin was one of the highest earning models during the 1980s.
Anne Doyle is a longtime fan of Newbridge Silverware and was one of the first to wear and promote the jewellery collections on television. Anne Catherine Doyle is an Irish journalist, presenter and former newsreader. She is best known as a long-serving newsreader for Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), who anchored the broadcaster's main evening television news programmes, during her 33 years of service.
In July 2017, Newbridge Silverware hosted and exhibition of Donovan’s personal and professional memorabilia from the peak of his career in the 1960s. Donovan is a Scottish-born singer, songwriter and guitarist. He developed an eclectic and distinctive style that blended folk, jazz, pop, psychedelia, and world music. He scored multiple hit singles and albums in the UK, US, and other countries. In September 1966 "Sunshine Superman" topped America's Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week and went to number two in Britain, followed by "Mellow Yellow" at US No. 2 in December 1966. He taught John Lennon a finger-picking guitar style in 1968 that Lennon employed in "Dear Prudence", "Julia", "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" and other songs.
